I run a fast-growing YouTube channel that breaks down feature films for casual viewers, and I’m ready to hand the editing reins to someone who can keep the audience hooked from intro to outro without blowing the budget. What I need you to craft • A single 10-20-minute movie-explanation video, ready to upload, that blends a clear voice-over narrative with concise on-screen text and light animations. • Dynamic use of legally obtained clips from the movie to illustrate each plot point and theme. • Smooth pacing, polished transitions, tasteful sound design, and colour-consistent grading so the story flows and retention stays high. Workflow I picture I’ll supply either a rough script or talking-point outline plus the full movie file. You select the strongest scenes, lay down the voice-over (either my recorded track or your own clean read), overlay text call-outs or stats where it lifts clarity, then finish with an eye-catching intro/outro and YouTube-optimised end screen. Edits should respect fair-use commentary standards. Tools you’re comfortable with—Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar—don’t matter as much as the end result, as long as you deliver a high-resolution MP4 under 2 GB and a separate SRT subtitle file. Acceptance criteria 1. Runtime lands between 10:00 and 20:00. 2. Storytelling uses both voice-over AND on-screen text in a complementary way. 3. At least 70 % of major plot beats illustrated with relevant movie clips (no copyrighted music left in). 4. Final video passes a quick copyright check and hits 60 fps, 1080p or better. 5. One round of revisions included. If you’re inventive, fast, and comfortable squeezing professional polish out of tight resources, I’d love to see a short portfolio link or sample reel that proves you can hold viewers’ attention for that crucial first 60 seconds.
