The real question is whether it was built to teach, or just built to look good. There's a big difference between those two things. Technical content is tricky. The moment the pacing drags, or the visuals don't match what's being explained, the student's brain checks out. So the edit has to do more than organize footage. It has to guide attention, reinforce key points visually, and make complex ideas feel simple without dumbing them down. Here's how I'd approach this: Every section of the video gets structured around one clear idea at a time. Graphics and captions aren't decoration. They're there to lock in the concept the moment it's introduced. Audio gets treated with the same care as the visuals because bad audio kills instructional content faster than anything else. The goal at the end of every module or segment is simple. The student should feel like they actually learned something, not just watched something.
