Matching one image by eye is easy; matching two hundred so they agree with each other and with the product in the customer's hand is a process question. So I would work to measured values rather than impression. Where you have reference colour standards already, those become target values and each image is corrected until it reads at that value - not until it looks right on my screen, which is a different and unreliable thing. A neutral reference in the shot makes this exact; without one, I work from your standards and flag anything the capture will not support. That is also why RAW is the right source and worth saying so: white balance and exposure are still genuinely adjustable there, where a JPEG has already baked those decisions in and fights correction. Working from your RAWs I can reach the standard rather than approximate it. Deliverables: layered PSD plus flattened JPEG, and a written note of the exact adjustments - with a saved preset or action wherever the correction is repeatable, so your next shoot starts from the same baseline rather than from scratch. Three questions: how many images in this first batch, in what form are the reference values (Lab, CMYK, Pantone, or reference images), and was the set shot under consistent lighting and camera profile?
