Existing Business Card Editing This project involves updating an existing business card design and preparing the final files for a professional print run. The goal is to produce new business cards that reflect my current branding and contact information, incorporating modern features like a QR code. ________________________________________ Project Parameters and Deliverables Project Scope • Design Update: Modify an existing business card design. • Brand Integration: Adapt the new brokerage logo to match your personal brand colors. • Contact Information: Update the photo, office phone number, and brokerage name. • Digital Integration: Add a QR code linking to your website. Expertise Required: For this project, the ideal freelancer will have expertise in professional graphic design software, specifically those that handle vector graphics and print production. This is because of the specialized Spot UV finishing, which requires separate, layered files. The key software expertise needed is: • Adobe Illustrator • Adobe InDesign • Adobe Photoshop Print Specifications (This is just for reference only -Printing will be managed separately) • Card Size: 2" x 3.5" (standard business card size). • Paper Stock: 16 pt. silk laminated cardstock. • Specialty Finish: Spot UV on both the front and back of the card. • Printing: Double-sided (front and back). Deliverables: The final deliverables will be a set of print-ready files that meet the specifications of a professional printing company. Final files including bleed should be: 3.625" x 2.125" This includes: • Artwork Files (AI or PDF): Vector-based files (.AI or .PDF) Single page Pdf’s are best for file (Front, Back, Spot UV mask files) for both the front and back of the business card. These files are scalable without loss of quality, which is crucial for printing. • Spot UV Mask Files: Separate, black-and-white vector files (.AI or .PDF) for both the front and back. These "mask" files indicate exactly where the glossy Spot UV finish should be applied. Black areas on the mask will receive the UV coating, and white areas will not. • High-Resolution Images: Your updated photo will be properly embedded in the design at a resolution of at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) to ensure a sharp, clear image on the final printed card. ________________________________________ Suggested Design Updates • Logo Adaptation: The iCloud Realty Ltd, Brokerage logo can be adapted to a color scheme that complements your existing branding, creating a cohesive look. This will involve using your preferred colors in place of the standard blue or white while maintaining the logo's integrity. • QR Code Generation & Placement: The QR code should be strategically placed on the back of the card so it doesn't clutter the main design. It should be large enough to be easily scanned by a smartphone. • Aesthetic Harmony: The updated photo, new information, and QR code will be integrated into the existing design, ensuring the final card looks polished and professional.
