I am NOT a US citizen or resident. However, I have an ITIN number. The reason for this is because I have some partnership interests in two US real estate funds (which are set up as partnerships). As a result of those interests I receive a K-1 for each partnership each year. In the past I did not have a filing requirement as the income was less than US$10,000. However, for 2015 and for 2014 I believe I may have a filing requirement. I do not believe I have any tax to pay (as it has already been paid on my behalf by the administrators of the fund). However, I would like to submit a return for each year if required. I need a qualified US tax attorney/accountant to assist me with preparing my US tax return (based on my K-1s) for 2014 and 2015. Please note I do NOT have any other US income or reporting obligations other than what is contained in my K-1s.
