RRB Ltd is a small antiquarian bookseller. They use a custom built Access database to track and catalogue all stock. 3-4 times a year they need to create and distribute catalogues both offline and online.
-Build an enhancement to the Access database to manage special formatting within the fields
-Automating the creation of the offline catalogues using the enhancement in point a. from within MS Access
-Improving the online version of the catalogue to include the special formatting mentioned in point a.

Enhancement to add special formatting within fields. (I have highlighted some examples in the attached Word document)
There will need to be functionality within the ‘Catalogue Books’ form to enable the end user to highlight ‘Short Quotation’ and ‘Long Quotation’.
This will preferably be a button that the user clicks when selecting text
Once a user highlights the text as a quote within the Access database, the PDF/Word output will need to format the text as a ‘Long Quotation’ etc.
Add ‘Export to Catalogue’ functionality to Access database. This should be called from the Main database menu and should open a new form where the user can add the catalogue title and description. I have highlighted these within the attached document in red.
Improve the method for posting the online catalogue. I think we need the web presentation system to be PHP/MySQL or XML based. Am happy to listen to other ideas but I think the above technologies will work well.
