Illustrate three cards for a card game; specifically Monk, Knight and Archer.
Style is speed/spit paint with a high level of detail on the key parts of the illustration with progressive drop in detail on the less significant parts of the image.
Knight - Human Empire
Traditional plate armour horseback mounted knight. A single knight will be the focus of the image, perhaps with other knights flanking him. The knight represents the strongest human “rank and file” troop, so should look accordingly impressive.
Monk - Human Empire
A single medieval European friar (NOT Shaolin monk). Equiped with a quarterstaff with perhaps a strongly fortified monastery in the background. The monk has an extremely high defence but very low attack, and his illustration should reflect that.
Archer - Human Empire
An English longbow man with similar longbow men flanking him (but less detailed / more spit/speed painted). The archer has a extremely high attack but very low defence; no armour as they are very weak in defence.
Please note that the knight and archer cards represent a unit of humans of that specific type, not a single individual hero character - although only a single character will actually be detailed in the illustration, whereas the rest of the unit will be highly spit/speed painted.
Mock-up reference will be supplied, but the artist should only consider these as an initial point of reference.
PLEASE ENSURE that the attached human colour palette reference is strictly adhered to.
We will require complete copyright transfer for the artwork assets. You will be able to use the artwork for promotion but NOT for reselling.
