osCommerce Development Needed

I am thinking of using osCommerce as a shopping site. The problem is I need a lot of modifications to the script itself. I need a developer who will work with me to customise this cart according to my needs. One of the functionality I would require is I have a point of sale device in my store and I want the MySQL database and the point of sale device to communicate with each other and essentially run off the web based database so that the point of sale device will update the MySQL database and vice versa. I also need to be able to upload my product catalog to the website without having to run a MySQL query. Can anyone assist in this?
