We need a web application to be made that will function as the account management area of our website. Users get access to this when they sign up.
From this area users can manage their content and details and account settings. There will also be a separate section called the task area. Users can perform simple tasks from the task area.
There are 4 major components:
1. The GUI client area.
2. The GUI task area.
3. There will be a database.
4. There will need to be a server side application that will need to do several tasks like connect to email servers and read/send emails, save/retrieve information from the database, connect to another windows based service thorough its api for data/information and expose an api. The GUI will get its information from this application.
A very brief description of the application below. We will provide more details as we discuss it:
For the GUI:
The client area is where customers log in and manage their details. This should have a user interface with content on the main panel and a menu bar on the side. The headings on the side bar will be:
Account - This will enable them to enter account details and credentials on the main panel
Questions - This section enables them to enter questions and answers on the main panel. Kind of like a FAQ.
History - This shows previous history of performance. The user can specify whether or not the history is accurate. This is then saved in the database.
Data - This enables users to add more content, can scan user's libraries and user's can add more information.
The task area is where users log in to do a task. This will be a split screen which displays text to the user on one side and information/details on the other. The user can then modify the text if they wish and perform other simple tasks.

Hello, history section would use data from APIs or completely different? There will be one API or multiple? I'm busy next 4 days, but then start to work.
