Our company is based in Dublin, Ireland and we are looking for a freelancer to develop this product for us. Internet based Thermostat Development: The development will include 3 main units. The HUB (Main Unit), Transmitter (Remote) & Receiver. HUB (Main Unit): This unit will have the option to be powered by either mini USB cord or through re-chargeable battery. Will be communicating by Wifi (802.11) with the modem. Will be communicating by RF module with the Transmitter. Unit will display the current room temperature along with set room temperature of each rooms in house by communicating with the Transmitter. Unit will be communicating with web server to allow the room temperature to be controlled from any location. The connection to the web server can be either through mobile Apps or through computer webpages. Transmitter (Remote): This unit will be either powered through 2 AAA batteries or re-chargeable battery. This unit will have 2 way communication RF module to receive data from HUB and also to send the data to HUB and the Receiver. Will have a thermostat to record the room temperature. The unit will have small 2 Inch LED display. Unit will display Current room temperature, SET room temperature, Time and Date. Users can set the temperature through transmitter, which will calculate the current room temperature and switch ON /OFF the Receiver as required. Transmitter will also send the updated data to the HUB. Receiver: Will have a RF module to receive data from Transmitter. Nessen, I am an embedded systems developer with more than 10 years of experience in the field of embedded systems, programming, electronics and PCN layout. I have worked on many MCUs including the 8051, PIC, AVR, MSP430 and ST. For the last 7 years I had been involved in Smart metering, where I develop metering firmwares and communication stacks. I developed TCP/IP stack for remote access to energy meters. Similarly I ported z-stack (zigbee stack from Ti) on AMI meters where meters communicated with the gateway over Zigbee network. I have read the details of your project and I am happy to inform that I am the best candidate for your work. Although I am not in INDIA and unfortunately you have plans to start an offshore in INDIA, so probably you would be looking for an INDIAN national to carry on the work so later he can set up your offshore office there. However, I have all the skills and resources to develop working prototype for your project. By the way in my opinion transmitter (remote) unit shall have the control also to switch ON/OFF the temperature controlling device (heater/Air conditioner) and there is no need of a receiver. Infact in a building there may be several rooms (say 10) and only 1 HUB is enough with 10 transmitters (each room with a transmitter). The transmitter would sense the temperature and send info to HUB, similarly HUB would send a threshold/set value to the transmitter. The transmitter shall have the capability to SWITCH ON/OFF the conditioner

Hi, I have this project developed already, can continue and modify as required. Existing features: 14 temperature and humidity sensors, 3 high temp sensors (up to 1000C), 4 CO, 1 CO2, 1 O2 sensor. 6 High power Servos (can move up to 15kg). 6 solenoids. 2 remote modules with 4x20 char lcd. Main hub with keypad and color lcd connected to internet with firewall featuring web server and mySQL database. (Wifi and bluetooth available within 150m). All data are available over web browser (secure), all servos, buttons, solenoids can be controlled from any location. iOS application is coming soon.
