Hello, I have had many years experience in electronics design and product development. I also have the capacity to develop and implement electronics deigns and produce complete engineering prototypes. Regarding your project, I dont see any particular issues other then:- What sort of distance do you want between the lamp and the button? How did you want the lamp to be enclosed? Perhaps as a flat panel or could also be in a tube with a clear lens at one end. Can you quallify the 'yellow/amber' colour? There are many options.
