Important Note: The prototype must be 3D printed using polymer materials only. No metal version is required at this stage. Scope of Work: • Review the patent document thoroughly and understand the intended functionality of the spring mechanism. • Design and fabricate one or more functional physical prototypes using 3D printing (FDM, SLA, or other suitable polymer printing technology). • Select appropriate polymer materials (e.g., PLA, ABS, PETG, Nylon, TPU, or reinforced composites) that can demonstrate spring-like behavior. • Ensure the prototype demonstrates proper compression, load-bearing capacity, spring rate, and ability to return to its original shape as per the design intent. • Provide recommendations on material selection, printing parameters (infill, wall thickness, orientation, etc.), and design-for-manufacturability improvements for 3D printing. • Deliver the finished prototype(s) along with basic performance test data (load vs. deflection curves, compression cycles, fatigue behavior if possible). • Share clear photos and a short demonstration video of the working prototype.
