We perform residential energy modelling to determine if new and renovated homes will meet the energy efficiency standard in building codes. We 3d solid model the INSIDE surface of the building envelope at a prescribed level of accuracy from 2d pdf plans supplied to us by architects. From the model we can then derive the required dimensions, areas, volumes, and envelope types as required into the energy modelling software. We wish to engage freelancers to create the 3d models and to interpret the architectural plans such that they can assign a distinct color attribute to the various envelope types and exposures of the proposed house.
