Hi there, I’ve read your brief carefully and can deliver a compact, DC-powered inline gas heater faster than typical timelines. I specialize in custom heater design for medical/biomedical contexts and have worked with all components your project entails (nichrome/Kanthal elements, ceramic/316L carriers, high-temp/biocompatible housings, flow path design, and sensor ports). I’ll size a low-thermal-mass heater for 2–20 L/min with rapid ramp to 100–300 °C, oxygen-compatible materials (316L, alumina/steatite, PTFE/PEEK/PEI as appropriate), and an enclosure that can be 3D-printed (PEEK/PEI) or fabricated in stainless with insulation. The design will include oxygen-safe clearances, thermal fusing, uniform heating across the flow, and straightforward integration with your existing PID electronics (RTD/thermistor well and wiring harness). Send me a message and I’ll share a concise plan (architecture, materials, thermal sizing, and build path) to get started. Best regards, Samuel tshibangu

With 17 years of experience in mechanical/product design, I can design a compact custom heater element with a biomedical-grade enclosure, optimized for 100–300°C operation. I’ll ensure rapid gas heating (2–20 L/min) and evaluate compliant 3D-printable or alternative materials. To align perfectly: do you have target heater size or wattage limits? Should the enclosure be sterilizable for medical use?
