Hi I am an embedded systems engineer with over 16 years of experience. I have designed compact consumer electronics PCBs that combine PoE power, DC/DC conversion, RS485 interfaces and Ethernet/network connectivity, including boards where reliability, EMI behavior and manufacturability matter in a small enclosure. For your 2x2 inch board, I can create the schematic, PCB layout, BOM and manufacturing files for a PoE-powered design that provides a clean 12VDC rail for the 200mA RS485 sensor and brings the sensor data onto the network. I usually work in Altium, but can also support Eagle/KiCad style deliverables if preferred. Before finalizing the design I would confirm whether the PoE input is standard 802.3af/at or passive PoE, whether you need isolation, and what network protocol you want from the RS485 side, such as Modbus TCP or a raw TCP/UDP bridge. Hi, I am very confident in your board design. I understand that a mixed-component PCB is a board that uses both SMD components and through-hole components. It appears to be a small board that operates as a DC-DC converter supplying 12V power from a 48V PoE line to support the RS485 protocol, without a specific power port. I will complete the work in Altium Designer quickly and submit the results. I have previously designed a camera power supply system using an Ethernet port, and at that time, I was able to obtain 12V and 5V from a 48V PoE power source. For this project, I will first capture a circuit diagram consisting of a DC-DC converter, a sensor, and an Ethernet port, and then route the PCB based on that. Regards
