I’m a Mechanical/Product Design Engineer experienced in consumer electronics, handheld devices, and CNC-ready enclosure design, and I can support your clamshell gaming handheld from refined concept STEP through to manufacturing-ready CAD. I will focus on improving the existing housing for CNC prototyping and eventual mass production, ensuring correct wall thickness, internal ribbing, draft where needed, fastening strategy, and clean assembly/service access. I can integrate the 4.16” bottom display and 6.0” top display with robust mounting features, cable routing paths, and protection structures aligned with supplied datasheets. The hinge system will be reviewed and optimized or redesigned for durability, controlled motion, and safe flex/eDP cable routing across repeated cycles. I will also develop thermal architecture including airflow path, heatsink/fan placement, and SoC heat spreading. Additional outputs include PCB outline DXF files, button and trigger integration, battery compartment design (6–8Ah range), exploded assembly views, renders, and STEP deliverables, structured for manufacturing and KiCad/CAM workflows.
