Hi there! Avatarist here. Turning a classic soccer ball geometry into a functional, 3D-printable capsule is an awesome engineering design challenge. The secret to making it "easy to print" is avoiding massive, messy internal supports while maintaining the iconic pentagon/hexagon panel aesthetics on the outer shell. I work natively in Blender / Fusion 360 and will split the ball perfectly along its natural panel seams to hide the joint line. I will design a robust, clean threading mechanism or a secure twist-lock (bayonet) system into the rim so the capsule snaps or screws together flawlessly.
