Custom Storyboard and Animation Creation

To fulfill the project requirements, the plan is to develop a custom storyboard and produce every visual element entirely from scratch—beginning with hand-drawn sketches, progressing to vectorization in Adobe Illustrator, and culminating with animation in Adobe Animate. Workflow and Tools Hand Drawing: Develop character and scene concepts on paper as initial sketches for clarity and originality. Adobe Illustrator: Convert hand sketches to clean, scalable vector assets for use in animation. Adobe Animate: Compose and animate all elements, using only the HTML Canvas export format. Animation Features Object Tween: Smooth movement/transition of key objects across the scene, adding visual interest. Press and Change: Implement simple interactivity—pressing a button or element triggers a visual change in the animation. Text Reveal: Introduce a welcoming message with an animated text reveal for added engagement. Project Scope All assets will be original, hand-drawn, and developed specifically for this project. Storyboard: A short storyboard will be created to map out the narrative and flow before production begins. Format: 1200 x 600 px, HTML Canvas only, compatible for web use as a portfolio site welcome page. Software: Full pipeline—drawing → Illustrator → Adobe Animate.
