I need a 3d model Makera Carvera dust shoe part modified to fit a rubber insert from the original (broken) piece. The rubber insert is 2.4mm thick and exactly 150mm long when folded around, it should insert 5mm into the shoe. It will be PETG printed, I just tested an it prints well. The 3d model of the part is attached, it has screw holes that can be removed. I would like the rubber to be a tight fit so I don't need to glue or can use minimal glue.

Need help debugging what is going wrong with my CNC machining on a Makera Carvera. I am trying to machine a keyring and I have a few issues: 1) I'm getting scratches down the bottom of the model, I think from the finishing step 2) I'm not sure if my selection of bits is correct for what I'm trying to do, I'm using a 3mm flat end metal for roughing then a 1mm ball nose for finishing, its resulting in a 130MB+ file which is taking many hours to upload to the machine and the quality coming out isn't amazing 3) Down the center line of the keyring I'm getting a flat section which I'm certain is the roughing depth which I'm setting to between 0.1mm and 0.3mm, the higher I set it the worse it gets, it seems the finishing pass isn't going...
