Communication between nodes is provided via CANbus using a 3.3V CAN transceiver (ESP-32 has CANbus available, just needs the addition of a transceiver chip: SN65HVD). The CANbus is working fine throughout. However, when I power the network and connect the nodes, I am frying the ESP-32s. I verified that the 5V pin on the ESP-32 is indeed only getting 5V so it is not being overdriven there. I am trying to figure out why the ESP-32s are failing (they get very hot and eventually (a few minutes) die miserably). I've attached the PCB schematic.
