There is a project. Aim goal is to drive linear actuator simulatenously. Arduino Uno or mega is used. Actuators drive by using VNH5019 Pololu motor driver. We currently have a PID controller which controls water flow to a motor. The RPM of the motor will change depending on the flow. We want to precisely control motor RPM with water flow, so we use a water valve and actuator with a potentiometer which also tells our PID the valve position. Our actuator is somewhat slow. We believe a stepper motor actuator would make the response faster. So we would like to replace our 0-5 volt analog actuator signal and 0-5 volt analog position feedback with a stepper motor. We are exploring doing this with a bluetooth footpedal using a PCB board to receive the bluetooth signal from the footpedal and then trigger the motor to go forward or backward. We have been working with the Airturn Ped Pro lightweight footpedal made in Colorado, USA. We like this one since it is very lightweight. We are working with the linear actuator from Actuonix (PQ12 series) They actually have a control panel board that may work and can take RC and USB signals However, we are open to what is easiest to implement. Our main requirements are to have a lightweight system with a wireless footpedal (either bluetooth or RC) that is fairly small. We would like our PCB board to be 1" x 1.5" if possible
