I'd like a configurable script that posts, quotes and vote on best
entry. It's like on the page

That code is not configurable.

Below is a list of fields I'd like to be configurable so I pass in the
specs and the image adjusts accordingly.
Box line color
Box size
Inside box color

image appears alongside entries,
image that appears when someone votes.
color of the number that appears alongside entries

all entries should appear in a table with alternating row colors. and
alternating row colors should also be configurable

source code should be imported from a different page to help conceal
or protect the source.

I have several different websites I'd like to use it with

Your work must be we documented, well-structures and tested before

It must work for all popular browsers. If you've done work like this
then please let me know where I can see samples.

Looked at the other website(prayforothers.html) to see how they handle
email addresses (which are required but not displayed).

At the other website they're submitting the email addresses to some
program. But it would work if they could be added to a separate file
with name and email address.

Also, could the date be optionally displayed? Maybe have an xml
configuration display_flag for the date-field. If set to true then the
field is displayed otherwise it's not displayed. Actually, can a
display_flag exist for all the fields?
