We are a fast growing SEO company in the UK who are looking for a web designer. We know how to use Wordpress well and have a lot of themes. However we want a genuinely bespoke theme for this client, a personal friend. We will use this contest to audition for our next designer. We stick to what we know best, SEO and need a web designer to handle everything design wise for a client.

The theme you build must meet the following requirements:

Compatible with wp 3.6
Major Browsers Friendly
Must Be original Work
Final Files must contain original Layered PSD Files
All Copyrights must be reserved
Responsive Theme
Validation, Error Checking, Debug must be done
Errors and Bugs not tolerated
Use only free plugins if needed
Theme must be fully customizable and follow WP Standards
Theme files must be well documented , Code Notes, Inline description for functions and files.

PSD Entries accepted initially, price is for completed website ready for delivery based on content provided by us.

We have set the budget to what we feel is a fair level, none of this £100 nonsense but we expect quality design and excellent service from the winner.

The competition has been set for 7 days as that the minimum but time is tight, so sooner the better please.

Are you expecting the theme build-out to include a theme panel like you see the commercial themes have?

  Not to fussed on a panel as I know that will be a lot of work, providing your support is good and you can make any customisations the client may want at the beginning of the process.
