What is the simplest way to make this robot balance

Konkurrence Instruktioner

The picture attached shows a robot knows as the 'ballbot'. It tries to balance on a single ball and uses many ways to achieve this. One of the ways used (shown in this picture) is 3 omni wheels. Equipped with an IMU, it measure the angle of the body and tries to prevent falling.

Inevitably though, the electronics might fail, or someone might push it over. I'm looking for the best way to make it balance in case anything happens and it looses grip on the ball.

Keep in mind that the solution should involve almost no power, and should also require very minimal parts, while still looking aesthetically pleasing.

Come up with a quick sketch and explanation of how it will work, including every detail possible.

A quick youtube search for 'ballbot' will show you how the robot navigates and tries to balance.

    why don't you use reaction wheels instead of omni wheel. i you do so i can drive any solution , the reaction wheel is perfectly implemented in satellites for positioning and maintaining its orientation, like your project is working on same principle
