We are currently searching for a skilled sound producer or engineer to remix our original theme song. Although the budget for this project is limited, there is potential for future collaborations with a more substantial compensation for the right candidate.
The original theme song has a cinematic feel, and we want to maintain its mood in the updated remix. We envision a modern version with a cinematic/orchestral foundation enhanced by contemporary electronic, house sounds, or modern effects. We want to keep the "nostalgic" feel of going to the movies but with a modern twist.
The remix will be used in our 2024 Filmmaking Video Reel. We request that the first 10 seconds of the remix closely follow the original sound. The first 10 seconds are the original "jingle" or "melody" for the company.
** We love the idea of a "build-up" at the beginning of the song. For example, we love the way Disney builds up to the main jingle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-o6y5VPXkM
While using real instruments is not mandatory, we highly encourage creativity in achieving the desired fusion of cinematic and modern elements.
We understand the constraints of the current budget, but a successful collaboration on this project may lead to more extensive opportunities in the future with larger budgets and great clients. We are a busy company.
We encourage you to express your creativity and showcase your skills in this endeavor. We look forward to reviewing your proposal and potentially working together on this project and beyond.
This is our 2021 Video Reel (to help you get an idea of the work we produce) the remix will be used for our new 2024 Video Reel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHmAk4hEWK8
To participate in the contest, please submit a sample or a remix of the provided file. You are welcome to improve your work further if the price is awarded to you. Stems have been provided for reference. The instructions are in the description but feel free to ask if you have any questions.
