  maybe a "the" written in small, handwritten text behind "Bloody" to even out the top line, and even make the words a bit smaller to fit within the doilie? I'm trying anything. i just don't like the way this logo looks in general.

  thank you for your entries, they are not quite right. i do not want any gradients, i prefer solid colors and a hand-illustrated style. the words "bloody borden" should be hand-written in a similar font to the one on the original, unless you believe you have a better idea. thank you again
