Hi,

We are developing a game for children showing the growth of a tree. Please take a look at the link to see the style of graphics needed. A benchmark for style would be the first tree, however with slightly more detailing than what is. http://www.freevectors.me/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/free_vector_tree_01_650.jpg (Not realistic)(But not very cartoonish either)

And as such we will require a set of tree models to use in the game. The models will be as follows..

1) Sapling
2) Tiny tree
3) Small tree
4) Big Tree
5) Huge tree.

Also, each model will have 3 types. One will depict the tree being very healthy. One will depict the tree being at medium health. (Dried leaves..or less leaves). One will depict that tree model at poor health. (Dried branches)(No leaves)(etc)

Therefore, there is total of 15 tree model. Also, we want the users to be emotionally attached to the trees :) and so the creativity of the designer to help make this happen will be greatly appreciated.

Also, we would like to create the effect that the trees are moving in the wind. Therefore each tree type and health will require multiple models that will give the desired effect. (UPDATE _ Effect of tree moving not required.)

Please note that the primary platform for this game will be mobile devices. Therefore, the trees will have to look great at the small size. Also, the preffered graphic type is vector graphics. But if you can suggest something better, that's great too..

Next time when setting up a contest, please define whether you need the illustration in 3D or not. People who do not practice 3D illustrations (like me) won't waste their time on this kind of contests then. Thank you.

And please guys, this is a contest. Everyone can't win.
We know that we hadn't asked for realistic graphics, but we got a good option there too. And also, if you read the description correctly you will see the line. (If you can suggest something better that is great too) The winning entry, did suggest something better. So they won. There is no obligation on our part to buy a cartoon styled vector. But yet we are, because we want two options and also to reward your efforts.
So please stop this childishness.

Ok friend, thanks for the input. Yes, the kind of style you have proposed are exactly the kind we are looking at. Infact it would also be fine if they are even more cartoonish than that.

I suppose the image I have uploaded is a little misleading.

The models are to be used mainly on mobile screens and thus something too realistic will not look great anyway.

When you say tree moving effect, do you mean that I should make multiple renditions of the same tree which can be superimposed to make it look like the tree is moving?

Yes, tree moving effect is necessary. A minimum of three models for each type is needed, a maximum would be 5.
