Contest Brief

We are developing a TCG (Trading Card Game) and we are looking for a designer to create our firsst card sample. The winner of the contest could be hired to help us design the UI for the game + more cards. Depending on his/her hourly rate =)

THE CONTEST:
Design a front and a back with 2 (!) variations:
- 1x Basic Card
- 1x Epic Card

Look at the file 'Briefing.jpg' attach to this contest for more information about the required content.

CARD COVER:
Include a frame and a artistic cover. (Let go your imagination. Global theme is learning and knowledge)

CARD BACK:
Include the frame, the level of the card (1 to 4) and the topic. Inside should be a light texture so we can put a question. We can also switch between the question and the answer options. (Player have 60 seconds to answer the questions)

I am surprised by the classic quality feeling given by #15 and #16 , well done. It was unexpected. =) Don't forget, if you use any stock photo / artwork, I NEED the url or else your entry is illegal. Never steal any content from another designer please!

Can you give more info on the name of the cards and what they do, is it going to be a game like hearthstone or something else.

  It's similar to Heartsone, aside that the game is about teaching various topics in a fun way. Each deck is about a topics: politics, maths, sciences, security, etc... You master your deck, your master the topics.

Just a quick advice, even if we said we like Hearthstone style, we still want something different. And if you use ANY image, you need to link the source or ensure they are royalty free.

  We will have special card (monster card) but in a nutshell, just keep in mind that the inside of the card will be interactive. For this contest, you just have to leave the interior with a texture or a sample of a question.

  Can we talk in terms of deliveries? A deck will be typically 4 card level and 5 topics, so 2 main design with 20 color / ornament variations. Since we need to keep this productive and cost effective, i'll say maximum of 300$ to 500$ per deck? After that we have the UI and the overall game interface, that one is probably going to be in the 1000$ to 2000$ range...
