To design a template for a "photo button".
We are running a campaign which involves people having their photo taken wearing "hulk gloves". The reference is they are mad and have turned into "The Hulk". We then change the persons face to green in Photoshop, then merge their photo into the photo template (this design competition) and physically produce a wearable button for each person.
The template will feature text, illustration of five grannies, and illustration of two hulk gloves. A mock up draft of the template we will be looking for is included as attachment.
The main design element is to illustrate six grannies. Each will have a different colour hair rinse and should be vibrant in colour (suggest flaming red, blue, yellow, orange, purple, blonde). Each of the grannies will be illustrated holding up green "hulk fists" under their chin. Their faces will also have a green tinge. We don't want them illustrated too angry.....it's meant to be funny more than anything. Funny angry.
The total size of the template should be circular with 4inch diameter for our button press with a bleed a bit beyond the 4". The inside photo hole size is design driven but should be decent. The illustration should be scalable in size for other purposes without losing resolution.
We have attached sample photos to go in the middle of the template so you can get the transitions right between photos and template and tailor your design to the end product with photo in middle. Other supporting photos relating to other design elements also included.
For this competition it is probably only necessary to submit one Granny illustration so we can see your style and pick a winner to finish the whole template so you are not doing too much work without getting paid!, however if you want to do more then go for it! We will take ownership of the winning design once prize is paid. The layout we are looking for is in the attachment "Green Grannies"
“Responded with excellence to all suggested modification both during contest and once selected. Great work.”
