I am searching someone who is able to sketch science fiction concepts.
The sketches should be precise as they will be the foundation for later high poly (!) 3D models.
This job is meant to find someone with nice ideas in mind whose sketches embody the desired style.
Please contribute if and only if you are interested in producing about 8 to 15 additional concepts.
The game is settled in the far future.
The humanity has spread over a single galaxy with thousands of occupied stars and is divided into 3 factions that are fighting for supremacy.
The ship types and their models are the same for all factions in the first version and should have a human touch (I don't need alien ships for now).
Brief descriptions of only 4 types are given as follows:
Fighter: Fighters are cheap and are available very early in the game. As they can be scaled very nice and do not require much fuel they are very good to guard small cargo fleets. In the end game they will become important to massively reduce the fire on more important ships. I want end-game fleets to consist of millions of fighters to retain shots on the Battleships and Destroyers.
Cruiser: Cruisers are the fastest of the ships and are meant to counter Fighter swarms. Even though they clearly lose versus Battleships they are very efficient versus the smaller ones. While in the early game Cruiser + Fighter fleets shall be the most efficient rapid action forces, Cruisers will be needed in the end game to get rid of Fighter fleets that hide heavy warships.
Battleship: Battleships are the backbone of every fleet as they have the best cost-benefit ratio.
They are strong versus most of the ships, can carry enough resources and have a solid speed.
Destroyer: Destroyers are expensive counters for battleships.
They are very slow, their costs are high and they cannot carry as many resources as a Battleship.
Nevertheless they are the only option to deal with larger Battleship fleets.
I want you to create 1 precise (i.e. quality like  and , preferably one of the bigger ships) and 3 to 4 rough sketches.
For the subsequent project I will provide you much more information but for now the 4 descriptions should be sufficient.
Please keep in mind that they shall be the foundation for highly detailed models later.
Therefore too rough concepts won't help me that much.
