Konkurrence Instruktioner

We are looking to create a wooden (black) room divider that does not require any drilling to mount, which will be achieved by "clamping" it in place between the floor and ceiling with adjustable feet (Similar to how the shelf is mounted in picture 2).

Each divider is 2.5 m tall and 1 m wide. It is meant to consist of 3 vertical bars and 5 horizontal, with two pairs of feet at the top and bottom of the frame. The spacing of the vertical bars is 50 cm, and the horizontal bars are 83.3 cm (roughly as in picture 1) The thickness of the bars are 33.33 mm. The measurements aren't set in stone and can be adjusted as appropriate.

The adjustable feet should look like in picture 2.1, and be positioned like in picture 2.

Each bar will be cut in a way that makes it easy for customers to assemble it themselves (See picture 3, 4, 5 and 6). The bars will be pre-drilled where they intersect so that they are easily screwed together.

The vertical bars, and top and bottom horizontal bars, are the longest, and will need to be split in two to reduce bulk as much as possible. These sections of a bar will have double ended thread screws (picture 7) attached to one side, to allow customers to firmly screw them onto each other to get a full sized bar. These smaller individual parts allow for easier shipping.

ASSIGNMENT: Please come up with a complete design/blueprint with the guidelines stated above. We want one rendering of the divider assembled and one with it disassembled, with each part with an assigned code (eg. A1, A2, B1, etc.). We would like the designs in CAD.
