WIN A CHANCE DESIGN OUR LANDING PAGE TO GET HIRED FOR FUTURE DESIGN WORK!

We would like to have our homepage and our product page redesigned. The current website is www.cricketscrush.com but you can start from a blank page if you like. The site was designed to sell consigned one of kind home décor that has been curated by Cricket. The business model is slightly shifting.

The central idea remains to build Crickets profile to feature her as: talented, original and shining. Our objective is now to add Cricket’s service to “jushe” up your home. Crickets essentially loads up our Crush Mobile (http://www.cricketscrush.com/crush_mobile), come to a client’s home and jushe or refreshes the home using our inventory of consigned home décor. This is unique service none of our competitors offer.

The cornerstone of this service is the inventory. Without an amazing collection of consigned home décor, Cricket can not provide an amazing new look for a clients. Thus, the CricketsCrush inventory has to be highlighted as; curated to Crickets high design taste level, unique and one-of-kind. Price is not a selling point.

The main messaging is Crickets profile, the jushing service with the Crush Mobile and high-quality inventory. Cricketscrush is also about original engaging home-decor content. The product descriptions, videos and blog are valued-add experiences for users of CricketsCrush.com.
When landing on CricketCrush.com… The user should quickly understand, within a few seconds, what we are about, why we are different, and how we can help them with their home furnishing needs.

The landing page should make this message clear with an easy to understand message through a clever design.
The logo can be any color. Font and font color can be any color. We like the idea of high-fashion, yet fun and creative.
Wall Of Life is the name of our blog. We like the design of the Pinterest like blog wall but the posting format needs help. WatchTV is our video web series, please watch to get a sense of Crickets personality: www.cricketscrush.com/videos. We like the the full-frame browser html 5 player and drop down menus..

As a whole, we want this website, again, to reflect talent, originality and shining personality. You don’t have to keep any of the items in the current website that wasn’t listed above. Please feel free to express your creativity ☺ , and if everything I’ve just said doesn’t feel right to you, well, do it your way☺!

The winner will be hired to work on the redesign of the entire web site.

Again... Inform users what our unique value propositions is... talent,shop,service... then qualify this unique value proposition with examples.... videos, testimonials.. etc.. entice or sell the user on our business's value.... finally, we want to convert this message into a clickable action... 1. search for product... 2. hire cricket... 3. watch video / read the blog..

I hope this helps a bit. The important message we want users to understand has to be clearly designed in the landing page. I want people to get what we are about right away. It's our difference that is important. We are a e-commerce shop but we also have this talent person who provides a service... The company/design who can clearly present this message and also convert users to a clickable action.. is going to be the winner.
