I have 3 historical fiction books about ancient China selling now on Amazon:

I made these covers myself, but I want them to look better. The books need to have a similar title and author typography that makes it clear to readers that these 3 books are part of a series. I want the current images to take up the full covers; I don't want any black bars on top or bottom anymore.

I like the image coloring the way it is now, I just want to make them take up the full cover. The images need to have similar effects, such as shading or positioning, again so that readers know the books are part of a series. The Titles and Author (Greg Strandberg) need to be clearly visible when the cover is reduced to a thumbnail size of around 250x250. This is very important for Amazon.

I'm including the 3 original cover images for reference.

The novels are historical fiction set in ancient China, around 500 BC. They deal with the Seven Warring States and there are more books planned for the series.

I ask that the final 3 cover submission be in at least a JPEG and the ideal size is for Amazon and Smashwords sized covers. Those would be 1562x2500 and 1600x2400 I do believe.

I'm going to reject some of the covers that I'm not interested in now. If this is your work, I'm sorry. I just have a few that are really catching my eye and I want people to focus on those.

The great work continues to roll in. Right now #30 is very good because they have 3 covers. #31 , 29, and 9 are also leading contenders at this point. I'd like to get this closed out and awarded today if someone can show me 3 covers.

Entry #5 is really getting at what I want with the picture taking up the full cover. The title looks great, but is still a bit small when the cover is small. It's definitely what I'm going for!

This #3 is much better. I like the font a lot better than I like the big 1. I wish you could make the image take up the full cover, and not have those colors on the top or bottom.
