I need a logo designed for a website called ProjectDock.fund
the website is a crowdfunding website aimed at game and gaming related crowdfunding campaigns. And it has to be really cool and gamer ish!

I have a concept that I pictured but with that being said I will consider original works outside the concept i am providing.

ok lets get started

The following are parameters for the logo design ( but we welcome original ideas as well)

1 I want the logo designed with a 3d look to it.(Unless you have a great 2d idea)
2 The main concept i though of was a little space station with a docking bay and possibly a little rocket or ship close to it ( a secondary concept was a rocket on a launchpad with a gantry)
3 since this is for a gaming related site i would like you to take that into account and create something that looks like it could be a game asset or game model
4 colors are up to you we just don't know if the site will be on a dark or a light background so the logo needs to be useable on either one
5 the work must be your own do not submit works that are not your own! copyrighted material will not be considered unless you can provide proof of your and our right to use sed material
6 you must provide a license to us that states we own the design 100% and that you the artist retain No rights to the material and will receive no royalties (this can be as simple as a text document that states the previous information and a statement that your typed name constitutes a signature if this is a problem do not submit an entry)
7 the png file with the brain lightbulb would be cool if you could put a logo on the ship or space station but not required
8 it does not have to be a vector graphic however it must be a high res logo so it can be resized. Vector is ok too though!
9 if you win you must provide a high res .png and a layered .psd and / or vector graphic with a transparent background we would prefer if it was in the area of 2000 by 2000 pixel or larger and around 300dpi ( it must however be able to resize to website logo size and retain its shape so it can be recognized what it is
ok so with that out of the way please remember that this is for gamers so it has to be really cool! i will add some files for inspiration. The files "Just Rocket" and "Earth_zps" can be used in the actual submission if you want to.

we like bright vivid colors so make the logo pop

The amount of the prize is not a huge amount however also please know that we have around 20 projects that we will need work done for and will most likely be using the same artist for them all so there is a continuity between the projects. So this first job is more of an interview then a single job! There is even the possibility for a full time position that will pay a salary if we find the right person so you are welcome to submit as many entries as you like to give us an idea of your talent. ( in fact we want to see multiple different entries from the artist so we can see their artistic style)

we like the art style of the images "Just Rocket" and "Earth_zps" but we definitely want to see you own art styles as well!

future projects will include more website logos, hud and ui graphics, game concept art and game models, complete game skill icon sets and general website art and graphics

and finally remember we would like to see work that fits in the concept criteria but if you have a great idea or concept that does not fit within the criteria you may submit it as we love great art and great ideas! Good Luck to everyone!

the image named "rocket on dock" was one of the original concepts we had and can be used as reference if you want to attempt to recreate it in your style.

Hello Everyone We Want to thank You All For Your Entries ! I know how Annoying it is to have a contest end and the owner take forever to decide we will not do that to you all we will try or best to make our decisions as fast as possible. Please also consider that I am the only designer who has shown some kind of Illustration skills which is what you said you need, the other entries are very simple designs.

So we have been looking at the entries and trying to decide whos going to move on to the next round and we noticed something we have been directing you and having you all fill in the rocket and earth with the ones we provided which is probably what we will have the winner use in the final revision of the logo ( unless someone submits something thats better then those parts) But I didn't think about the fact that we also want to see your artistic skills so I want to apologize to everyone because i should have just let you all submit your own entries and then once i selected the winner i should have then asked you to change the rocket and the earth out for ours (unless yours is better)

the whole point of this was to get other artist to show their concepts and to the the style of the artist for future work from us because we will have alot of work coming up so please submit your own ideas if you want to submit a version of the idea using our rocket and earth you can or you don't even have to use a rocket or an earth we just want to get a feel for your artistic style. Let me again thank all of you for putting up with me and the team and please feel free to submit as many different entries as you like that will help us see your concepts and your art style and ability. keep up the good work everyone submit as many different entries as you like! in 2 days i will start rejecting the one stars and begin culling the field so keep checking your status and submit entries that rank higher then a 1 star the next day i will start removing the 2 star rated entries and so on till we are left with only high rated entries. when you submit please do not get discouraged if i don't rate them right away i check the page often and will rate at those intervals. i will give you all feedback on every entry as i rate them. I would like to see the entries move away from the two letters type Logos I really need to see some creativity here. I would like to thank the artist of entry #6 for showing me some promise with his/her entry Thanks! You can see that with entry #6 the artist is at least trying to follow the criteria set in the instructions. Like i said in the instructions i will consider your ideas even if they do not follow the criteria however the two letters type logos are not what I am looking for please be more creative then that. Thank you!

all the submissions have been ranked and I have left feedback for you all, Please read the outline for the logo and submit a new logo that is using at lease some of the criteria that was requested. I will not reject any of the current submissions yet and will consider them as original works but if you would like to be considered for the contest i need you to all submit another entry that hits at least some of the criteria provided for you in the information above. i did upgrade to $50 on the prize but pay close attention to the information as this is more of an audition then a single job. the person we select as the winner will be offered a lot of work in the future.
