Plastic Lid for a Glass Jar

Contest Brief
Candles are routinely sold in glass jars, and most have metal or glass lids. We are looking for a design concept that is functional and aesthetically pleasing to replace these lids with plastic lids. It is important to note that glass jar diameters tend to change, so the part must be able to accommodate a wide diameter tolerance. The part will be injection molded, so it is vital that the part be designed so that it can be ejected from the mold. The goal is to produce a part at the lowest possible price with the target being less than 15 cents. Low cost materials such as polypropylene and polystyrene will be considered for the lid. '
We have a fistful of variations on the lids already being produced and are looking for someone thinking about a solution in a whole new way! A simple sketch with a concept we can pitch wins the contest and the opportunity to negotiate a contract to do the actual design work.
