     On Freelancer: "A Guaranteed contest attracts more designs by committing to select a winner and awarding the prize money." The option is there to guarantee the contest both before it starts and over its duration. It is also very helpful to provide feedback to designers whilst the contest is running. Not only will this ensure that the final design matches more specifically with your brief, but it will also be greatly beneficial to the designers themselves, who are putting in their valuable time and effort to create the perfect design for you.
