- Nostos is a boutique eCommerce brand dedicated to empowering confidence and ensuring personal safety. We design and curate premium safety devices and equipment for athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, and everyday individuals, so they can do what they love with complete peace of mind.
- Beyond products, Nostos is about education and awareness: helping people move through the world smarter, safer, and more confidently.

Brand Meaning:
- Nostos (Greek: νόστος) means “homecoming” the idea of returning home safely after a journey.
This is the emotional core of the brand: wherever you go, whatever you do, you come back home.

Brand Positioning:
We are not a gadget or “cheap safety gear” brand.
We are a premium, design-led safety brand.
Safety, elevated to a lifestyle standard
Functional, but also refined and aesthetic
Trusted, reliable, and discreet
Calm confidence—not fear-based
When people think about their safety, we want Nostos to be their first instinct.

Logo Direction:
We are looking for a logo that reflects minimalist elegance and premium simplicity.
Clean, simple, and instantly recognisable

Avoid:
Anything tactical, aggressive, or fear-based
Overly complex or busy designs
“Gadget” or cheap tech aesthetics

Logo Requirements:
Primary logo: Nostos (full name)
Secondary mark: “N” standalone icon (must be strong enough to live on products)
Should inspire trust, safety, and reliability at a glance
Must work across: products, packaging, website, and potentially wearable items
Must inspire subtle reference to “home”, “return”, or “protection”, sense of movement/journey (returning safely)
Soft, intelligent symbolism rather than literal icons

    - The secondary logo can be for either the n or the o
    - Like the idea of a compass in the first o (one only) but would need to be curated to the main traits only so it stays as simple as possible

    1. The "N" Journey
    The fluid lines of the "N" represent a path. The upward and inward curves symbolize the "Journey" and the "Return," directly translating the Greek meaning of Nostos (homecoming).
    2. The Subtle Shield
    The negative space within the "N" forms a shield-like shape. This provides a sense of protection and safety in a refined, non-aggressive way—staying true to the "lifestyle" rather than "tactical" feel.
    3. Elevated Typography
    The clean, wide-spaced Sans-serif font exudes luxury and calm. It moves the brand away from "cheap gadget" aesthetics and positions it as a high-end, trusted boutique.
    4. Sophisticated Palette
