Contest Brief
Attached with this entry is a CAD DWG file of a rough industrial machine. When view model, the opening in the front is the door used to load and unload product. The machine itself uses combustion so for designs proposed no flammable material like woods or plastics can be used. On the model the blue part or the small rectangle on top of machine is a place where some operational equipment is housed. the Green box located on the side of the machine is our control panel that comes with a computer screen and keyboard for operating equipment.
What I need is the ability to add or create a new look to this machine. The dimensions of the machine have to stay the same, but material, paint, lights, etc can be added to make it look different. Current design is painted carbon steel, trying to dress up look more. Also, designs presented need to be manufacturable in real life.
Current finish for the machine is paint and SS pieces. Currently, the front of the machine uses SS or other material in flat sheets and covers entire front minus the door opening. Sides, back, and top are all painted in a neutral color.
It should be noted that whomever is selected I will need all of their CAD files for this in a format that for AutoCAD.

You have given the outer size,i mean the three boxes, for the design can we change that outer dimension of the box?

Depends on what you mean by change. Machine size is locked, cannot change, but material can be welded or bolted to it to make a new look.

If different additions of material could be added to break up how square this is that would be good.

I just added an example of a machine we have done, it shows design we have for some aspects. For control panel we replaced with another entity, top of machine had extra steel added to make it a clean rectangle, front has protrusion.

I have AutoCAD 2014 so DWG is great, but I will take other file types. I am preferential to models but will take items in 2D or PDF.

For control panel you do not have to place alot of detail, we already have a monitor, SS logo, and keyboard built in. Some installations we remove control panel from side of machine completely you can do this if you want for the design if you want to concentrate on the design of the machine.

Right now I have a single design being used to dress this machine up prior to this contest, but it only really changes the front. It adds contrasting colors and materials and parts of it actual protrude from machine and are bolted on. What I would like to see is a design that makes this less than a rectangular box, we are already changing paints, need to change look overall.

I can share outside dimensions and would rather not have NDA done. The machine is truly three boxes, main one is the machine itself, on the side is the control panel, and top is door components. The door used slide vertically up in a single piece.

I can only give general information, cannot share exact details or photos. I updated description of machine current looks. Use of machine is a heated oven.
