Contest Brief

The book is about a heart surgeon falling in love with a patient. It's set in Los Angeles. I personally think the darker color theme would be best. Its a sad story.

Text instructions:

a. Preferably top of book would write: Award Winning (Amazon) International Bestseller Author the word amazon in italics
Then inline below and larger: Daniel Wallock
Then the title further below larger: Crescent
Then very small: A Short Story

    I'm curious where other people got their images. Maybe they could link to their sources and prove that they are completely free. Even creative commons licenses seem to require that name the author when you use the picture.

    Sir, with all due respect, this is 25 dollars?

    Give me a thousand dollars I'll come up with a design that will sell your book with empty pages. You know, better than picasso's paintings.

    But for 25 dollars? This is slavery. I refuse to participate in any more of these "so called competitions". We are not animals.

    If you are serious about getting a good design, go visit a book publisher and an artist who has paid 12 thousand dollars a year of tuition fees just to get that degree so they can have bread on the table by doing your work.

    See, there is nothing for free in this Universe. And my state of mind = the state of your product. This, is what your book cover looks like tomorrow. Read this message again.

    Hey, I got my images from wikimedia commons. Is that okay? I just read on their site that you sometimes need to "attribute" a photo to the "author." I thought it was all just free to use.
