Need a graphic designer to complete a logo redesign from my initial sketches

Konkurrence Instruktioner

Our company recently moved to a new location and our previous logo that we designed won't fit well on the signage for our building. The new logo concept we've come up with needs a professional touch. I've included the old round logo for Icon Fiber Arts and also the new concept I created for a rectangular version. We want to incorporate the colors and feel of the original logo in the cleaner new version. The store is a fiber artist studio and yarn shop. The goal with the new logo is to have it be clearly readable. The "o" being changed to a yarn ball. The mock up has a badly drawn yarn ball by me. I want the artwork to be original and we would hold the license to it. I would like one with a tail coming out of it to wind under the bottom of Icon. However, I'm open to ideas that reimagine the concept completely. I need the final new logo and branding look put together in multiple sizes and arrangements for use in business cards, website, etc. Files should be returned in ai format for the finished product that is chosen. We will edit the work further for the media we create from it.

    I want to thank everyone for their submissions thus far. I feel many of them are close to what I am looking for. I am actually treating this as a contest. I will likely choose the winning design tomorrow or the next day, depending on what else comes in. I have posted notes to many of your submissions. Please review them carefully and update. In general the top contenders have had the following characteristics:

    1) Submissions that have included both a rectangular version and also a round version of the logo side by side.
    2) Submissions that have found a creative way to use the yarn ball
    3) Submissions that have included as many of the original colors in a streamlined way
    4) Submissions that have demonstrated how the logo will look across various media
