Konkurrence Instruktioner

I need a design for a new innovative hire-a-chef style application for the iPhone. It will have similar functions to that of an uber app. In order to give you a better overview of what I am trying to achieve please have a look at an App called HomeMade which is similar to what I am trying to achieve in terms of an idea. It is hiring a homemade chef/cook preparing homemade food for the local community.


My main focus is the design and use of colour. It must be easy to use, creative, modern, sleek but minimalistic. Please include whatever you feel is neccessary. I would like people who are not necessarily good with phones to be able to use it ease. I would like it to have the same feel as a kind of 3-click order system, so very minimalistic and simple.

In terms of functionality it will need a chef login and a user login:

Chef:
Login/Register
Basic Profile
Food Category
Order History
Ratings and Comments
User Rating and Comments

User side:
Login/Register
Home screen map.. List of all the chefs
Search with name, location or category, radius etc
Ask for hire
Hire history
View ratings and comments
Message

Price will be decided by the Chef!

Please note that this is just a basic guide for you to get an understanding. You do not have to use all aspects of the functions. Please feel free to be as creative as you wish. Again, my main focus is design and creativity.

Here is a small example of how the app could potentially function:

Customer: Login screen --> Food category screen --> Map showing in the area the chefs related to that category of food --> select chef and view his profile --> select the food you want with any special requirements --> place order date and time --> chef will confirm the order.

Chef: Login screen --> profile stating their details, dishes, favorite foods, why they love to cook --> current orders and order history --> ratings and comments --> upload details of dishes with pictures

Again, this is just an example of how the app could look but please just use it as a base, please feel free to fill in any gaps. I want to see creativity.

    Hello everyone! The contrst has now ended. I would like to thank everyone who took part and worked so hard to create a design. Your designs have been amazing and have met all my expectations and more which has made it extremely difficult for me to select a winner. I will however come to a decision. I am now going to spend a few days going through each one of your designs and see which one is the right one for me. If selected then I hope we can complete the design and make something incredible.       Hi Crizok, thank you for your submission. It looks amazing !! I love the use of colour and simplicity in the design. Definitely modern and I like that. Not entirely sure with the use of graphics. Would prefer something bit more edgy. Also any chance of incorporating more white colour than black. I want to emphasise clean. But thank you so far so good.
