Konkurrence Instruktioner

We are a cafe with a vintage tropical feel. We want to turn our menu into a booklet like a botanical journal (search pinterest for ideas) with watercolor sketches and interesting type font. Not too busy though (as in not too much on each page, white space available).
As the booklet opens, the left page will be illustrations and comments about the food, like: our eggs are free range pasture fed ensuring you get the best omega three and no unwanted hormones.
The right side (odd page number) page is to list the menu items relevant to the section. Towards the back of the booklet, we have the comments on the menu pages so just one picture on those pages will be enough. Presuming they can fit. The file attached has the basic layout. We want you to format something that looks better in the journal style. There will be a cover for the booklet. It is printed on A4 in booklet print. Both sides of the pages.
We would like a cut out on either the tops and bottoms, like folder tabs, so that quick navigation of the menu is possible. Currently that is in the header and footer. We will hand cut out. The print run will only be about 20 copies.
It will be color laser printed on watercolor paper but we don't want lots of color saturation, the paper is to remain existing color (slightly cool colour off white).
The fonts are to vary in type but be easy to read. Some cursive would be good. The font size needs to be no less than the equivalent of 11 in comic sans..
Pricing in menu is to be large dollar, smaller font size in the coins. Do not order the dishes from low price to high price. Keep order similar to it is now. No dollar signs. Price to be at the end of the text. Don't put dots and the price over on the right side. We want them to read the dish before looking at price.
File needs to be Microsoft Word or Publisher and be able to be edited by us.
If you do not have watercolor images you can use, please send suggestions through and we will purchase when we select the winner.

Arbejdsgiverfeedback

“Alexandra did an awesome job. Nothing was a bother. She gave valuable opinion that stopped me from doing something that I would have regretted. She submitted various options. But most importantly, she read the brief thoroughly, did research into our business and our 'vibe' and presented options that fitted us. The first submission was beautiful and they only got better. All of her submissions were great! We are very happy with the work she did and will hire her again! ”
