Contest Brief

I am looking for someone to design a character graphic that includes two armed men with blades drawn in a battle stance. Both men should have an identical tattoo on their right forearm. The clothing/armor does not need to be anything specific (freedom on your side), but it should be detailed enough that it looks good. I will need one version without the background (transparent PNG). The standard version can have just a simple background of a generic battle surroundings. Not much background is required except for just slightly outside of the area of the two armed men (or as filler for the size needed). The image needs to be square in dimensions. The artist I have worked with before provide the image as about 1000x1000, but the size can be anything as I'll resize it down to the dimensions I actually need. The only reason I keep the bigger version at all is in case there's ever a chance to use it for something else in the future. The theme for the characters is medieval/fantasy. Be sure to design the clothing/armor accordingly. One last tidbit - it would be great if there was some item that stands out on one or both of the men that can be easily pulled out as a separate file to use as an item - just something that identifies as coming from them and would fit in a bag...some sort of artifact or relic.

I have attached a sample that shows the kind of quality that I am using. Of course, this is not a human character and the one you design will be. I am attaching this only so that you can see the kind of quality I am looking for and bid accordingly if you can match it. I am anxious to see your work!

I actually meant for them to be in a battle stance facing the player...that is not as opponents against each other, but against the player of the game. However, since I did not specify that properly, I will still accept the best submission and use it for something else if the best is done that way, of course.

Dear Contest Holder,

Allow me to ask you some question :

1.) What kind of tattoo do you exactly want for the images?
2.) What is exactly "the generic battle surroundings? Maybe you can attach a sample of this?
3.) The relic, is this the same as a weapon which is should be different for each character?
4.)Do you want this in Black-White outline or full color just like in the sample attachment?
5.) Because of the difficulty rate & the high salary, would you mind to make this contest (at least) guaranteed)?

Please explain this, your answer would be highly appreaciated by us.

  The tattoo is up to you...most likely a symbol of some kind, as long as it is the same on both. Generic battle surroundings just means most any background that would look like a battle would take place there. The relic is not the weapon. The relic is an item like a jewel, goblet, book, coin...basically anything that might fit into a bag rather than one of the other slots. Full color. I do not feel comfortable making the contest guaranteed because of the submissions received so far. Sorry about that. This is my first time doing this. :)
