Konkurrence Instruktioner
High level:
• I want an MQL4 EA that will run on MT4.
• The EA will be based only on 1 MA and will enter Long\Short positions and close the opened position based on this MA only.
• The EA should be able work on all charts and time periods.
Algorithm:
1. The EA will enter a Long position if the current MA value is higher than the previous candle one.
2. As long as the current MA value is higher than the previous candle one do nothing.
3. If the current MA value is lower than the previous candle one close the long position.
4. Enter a Short position if the current MA value is lower than the previous candle one.
5. As long as the current MA value is lower than the previous candle one do nothing.
6. If the current MA value is higher than the previous candle one close the long position.
Variables:
The following parameters should be changeable through the MT4 interface.
• MA – number of candles to average

1. The EA will enter a Long position if the current MA value is higher than the previous candle one. Current MA refer to current MA value on current candle (we dont wait for cablde to close) or its refer to previous candle MA value (we wait for candle to close)??

this is a good question, thank you. we wait for the candle to close, we dont check the current tick.
