Ohunt... as someone who is involved in BidXcel http://blueprint.joyofdailypay.com/ and has ran logo contests like this I have some friendly advice to offer as a great design will benefit my bottom line directly!
1. Unless you want something exactly like QuiBids you need to give the designers more direction. The designers are trying to please you and you only said "look at quibids" That tells them you want a copy of quibids which is mostly what you have so far. They are creative and if you also tell them to come up with something on their own you might be suprised.
2. Comment on everything... if you like a part of any design, tell them, if you don't... tell them. If you want specific colors, let them know.
3. Give them examples of many logos you like and why.
4. To reiterate, the more details you give them the better the end result.
