“KelvinOTIS won our contest for a logo for a British pub in Adelaaide, South Australia. There were over 100 entries and almost all of these were top, professional designs, making it very difficult for us to pick a winner. We ultimately selected KelvinOTIS's idea and design and worked with. with him to perfect it. He was happy to make slight modifications and provide us with variations to use the logo in different applications (signs, stationery, beer coasters etc)., KelvinOTIS we found to be a very professional, very cooperative designer and easy to work and communicate with.”

    Hello, i would like to point out some stuff about my proposition: 1. "The Elephant" text is completely designed by me, in a modern-celtik style to suit your needs. 2. The elephant is young, a reference to your customers age group. 3. The gray-green used is close to your webpage's color but blended with some elephant gray. The logo can be used separately and still communicate the message to your customers, i hope you like it and i will be glad to conduct any changes to make it suit your personal taste!! Thanks a lot!

      Thanks for your efforts. #96 is too difficult to understand and read at a glance. #100 looks more like the type of character you find on a poker machine (slot machine), rather than the logo that we are looking for.

    Hi All,
    I'd like to start by thanking you all for your submissions to date. There are certainly some interesting concepts being created!
    I'll be providing feedback on 3 of the submissions - ones which I feel are more the direction we are after. Some others are good, but are either too 'busy', or have a restaurant/Indian Takeaway feel.
    In the meantime, I feel parts of the brief may have been missed:

    The logo has to be rectangle in shape.
    It must contain 'The Elephant British Pub' in full. These words can be split over lines.
    The idea is to have the image and wording that can be used together AND apart - with people still being able to identify us from either one.

      Ideally the image plus text along the lines of 'The Ele' could be utilised for Social Media, uniforms etc. The main logo in full will be used on letterheads, signage, light boxes, Web Page etc
      One idea that hasn't been touched upon yet is a 'stencilled' Elephant (or Elephant parts) within a logo. Thoughts?
