Contest Brief

EDIT: A lot of the entries so far are not what we are looking for, so I have created an example of the style we would like (please see attachments). Use this design as a reference, but feel free to re-invent it. We think that a very simple, line drawn empty fish tank would fit in with the design (replacing the current leaf)

Tankscape is an online store which specialises in nature aquariums (growing plants in an aquarium to make it look more natural). Our products are mostly made from glass. We already have a relatively strong business identity but I would like to bring the design right into 2013.

We're looking for a simple, strong identity making use of only blue and dark grey (the colours on the website and existing logo). Aquatic Plants/Grass and Rocks (the main parts of a nature aquarium) can be included in the logo but are not necessary and I don't want them to detract away from the simplicity of the design. A version with and without the slogan 'realise your nature aquarium' would be ideal.

We also have a presence on ebay, twitter, facebook and a variety of forums. The successful design will be offered further design work in relation to these.
