Calling all graphic designers!
I need a logo design for a non-profit service provider offering education in methods of fertility management which are completely natural, drug and device free. Natural fertility methods are suitable for women in all stages of fertile life including puberty and pre-marriage, avoiding pregnancy, achieving pregnancy, sub-fertility diagnosis and menopause, however the main target audience will be women aged 24-35 in long-term relationships who have, or would like to have, a family.
The name of the organisation is Natural Fertility Services Canberra Region and we also use the acronym NFS.
I’m open to a logo using the full name or just the acronym. In the end I will want a suite of various logos, letterheads, on different backgrounds, some using acronym, others using full name. The winner of this contest may be contracted further to design these additional bits and pieces.
I’m not specifying colours or specific images, however bear in mind the service’s primary target audience as detailed above. I would say that clean and simple is best. Incorporating a simple visual “symbol” will be ok, but not too much space wasted with messy images please.
Oh – and I was thinking I would use the tagline “Freedom to be natural”…. Which may further inspire the design you choose.

Hi all. A few points for your information. 1- Natural fertility management (NFM) is used both for achieving pregnancy AND avoiding or delaying pregnancy without the use of any drugs or devices; 2- it is a scientifically verified approach shown to be 99.6% effective for avoiding pregnancy (this is on par with the pill); 3- male partners are a very important secondary target audience as NFM is a joint approach to managing fertility and both partners need to be 100% on board (this is how it differs from the pill as it takes involvement from both).
What this means for design? Show me simple, clean designs that signify "natural" and "fertility" without necessarily depicting a sperm, egg or baby! It needs to be professional and appeal to both sexes.
