Bert671 made all requested changes and went above and beyond to see which tweaks would work in the final design and produced all the files I needed to use the logo in a variety of media.     To those of you who have submissions that rate 4 stars: I want you to start thinking about how you would incorporate a city name with the logo. I do not need to see any new work now, but when I do ask for it I would like you to use the city "Sandpoint" as your example. I want the city name to have as much emphasis as the logo overall. my visualizations on this are a simple black & White with a boarder that looks like a stamp (google image search "top secret and you should see what I mean). I do not want the font to look like a stencil.
    the second idea would be like a postal mark. A circular form with the city name at the inside upper part of the circle and the zip code ("83864" in this example) at the inside lower part of the circle.
    I am still doing some consumer testing to get to my final decision and will only ask you for further work if you are still in the running.

    IMWeblike, sealing this contest will ensure more creative designs, since people tend to inevitably get inspired by top entries and redo the same concepts over and over again. I would suggest sealing this contest when you see appropriate. I have a design that I don't want to introduce right now because I don't want it to get copied. I think there other people just like me.

    Hello everyone!
    Once again thank you all for your submissions.
    At this time I am seeking the opinions of people in my circle of influence. I will be posting on Thursday morning my time (PST) more feedback and possibly re-rating. If you have a submission that is ranked 3 stars, please do not withdraw, you are in the running. the changes I would seek from any of the current 3 stars would be font, color or scale in nature.
    If you have a submission that is 2 stars or less, you may not wish to do any further work unless there is a departure from what you have already submitted.
    One thing I can relate from a limited sampling of others is that the less real looking brains are playing better than the more realistic ones.

    P.S. I really do need the help of others with this decision, I'm chromatically challenged (color blind) :)

    Hey Guys,

    a couple of thoughts based on recent submissions.

    What about the name in a circle around a brain with lightning bolts? The brain in #14 is the best so far.

    I would like to see the 2nd element of a city name included. Keep in mind that the city name will not always be used in the logo and that the city name will change for different cities.
