     It took me over 30 layers of textures, shadows and highlights (brushing, blurring, masking, dodging, burning).
     I'm considering making a tutorial on youtube and maybe also try to get it into psd.tutsplus.com to show how to create a seal like this from scratch.
     psd.tutsplus.com is a great place for learning to work with photoshop. I recommend it to everyone.

     Anyone who takes a $54 necklace (that is mass-produced and will be hanging around the necks of thousands of people) to be used as a base for a logo/design that will represent a highly sophisticated interior design company (that embodies quality, good taste and prestige) should consider himself a disrespectful crook and a fool and should be ashamed.

     For those of you who might suffer from amnesia, when you submit a design you have to go through this:
     
     "Declare if your design uses stock imagery or clipart.
     This design is entirely my own original artwork.
     This design contains elements that are not my own."
     
     Have you ever tried to click on "This design contains elements that are not my own"?
     
     If you do, you will not be able to submit your art. Why? Because those are the rules: It MUST be YOUR ORIGINAL design, not some cheap clipart.

  Hi James:
  
  I chose to use spot colors and decided not to make a 3d. Why this decición is that when making a 3d and use a color gradient, you lose cogency. Note that I sent the logo to be color and simpler plane is more enduring in the memory of one.
  On the other hand, did not seem appropriate to repeat the name twice.

  Dear contest holder. Freelancer.com is a place where great designers find themselves sharing the same contest platform with scammers. Some people here will pull out a professional looking wax seal from the Internet, add a layer of fonts to it and call it a day.
  Please be advised too google images of wax seals for the purpose of fraud detection.
